A curious community has created an immersive world at the edge of jungle and sea, where lantern light replaces screens and curiosity reshapes one's journey through time. This basecamp for soul discovery seems intended to take people out of routine and into a more present way of being, and brings together a rotating community of inspiring artists and practitioners from a variety of disciplines who co-host experiences across the space. Over the course of four nights, while immersed in comfortable, thoughtful design and a culture of play, co-creation, and connection, visitors find themselves bonding, exploring, growing, and deepening in their true nature, their... jai.

The answer to those asking the question: How can a vacation be more? Where can I go for comfort, creativity, connection...and natural beauty?
Guided by the tenets of world-class hospitality and a deep influence of the co-creative culture at Burning Man, there's never been a hotel quite like this.
Experiential Culture:
Research has revealed a very unique culture and rhythm here. The landscape is not just blue sea and green jungle. Guests, or explorers as they are called here, live alongside a constantly changing cast of artists, facilitators, healers, thinkers, and makers who are on the same mission to go deeper. These muses are often observed leading experiences of movement, wilderness exploration, creativity, food, music, and wellbeing.
Experiential Culture:
In addition, these explorers have been seen creating their own spontaneous activities, inspired to bring their talents or stories into the community. This is true emergent co-creation.
Interestingly, there seems to be no fixed schedule, no ability to plan too far ahead. Almost as if the goal is to invite a constant presence. An evening can pivot on a conversation. A morning idea launches a whole new trajectory.

Hidden away on one of the last quiet beaches in Koh Phangan, this intriguing paradise makes its home at Bottle Beach. Accessible only by long tail boat or a tricky mountain trail, the maps had almost forgotten this place...
Current Conditions:
The bungalows at Bottle Beach, loved for its beauty and calmly inspiring energy, have drawn people from around the world for decades. And like all beach-side dwellings, they need tender love, care, and sometimes, repair.
In this time of renovation, the community of Jaia is taking the opportunity to both restore the original Thai bungalows and features, as well as convert this 25,000m² space into a new world of creativity, discovery, and play, while carefully respecting the history of its hosts and the needs of the nature it calls home.
This is no teardown—this is a loving makeover, enhancing the magic that already existed, and designing opportunities for visitors to bring their own.
